The Hatteras 58 Yacht Fisherman is a redesign of the 53 Motor Yacht with a 5 foot Cockpit Extension added at the factory.  Originally she is a Three-Stateroom Three-Head design which features a V-Berth stateroom forward, a portside Guest Stateroom with two single berths, and an aft Master.  Access to the staterooms is via a hallway with port and starboard Engine Rooms, each with two access doors offering excellent accessibility.

Janie D has had a bit of modification to the original floorplan, the original split master berths have been replaced with a single Island Queen to port.  Her forward stateroom has been used as a work/storage area and now includes an over/under laundry washer and dryer.  The forward head has been fitted with a chest-type freezer and a battery array to harness the solar panel installation, which is mounted to the hard top above the Enclosed Bridge.

Entering the salon you will be greated by a large, spacious cabin that makes the 355 feel like a much larger boat.  Natural light is abundant and contrasts well with the wood and fabrics.  The galley is directly to starboard of the companionway with stainless steel sink, large top and front load refrigeration, gimballed stainless steel stove/oven and ample counterspace and storage.  The salon features a U-shaped settee and table to starboard and three piece settee to port.  The nav station is just aft of the port settee with the single head just aft and directly opposite of the galley.  There are two staterooms, one aft of the galley with queen-sized berth and the other forward of the salon.  Both the aft and forward staterooms feature large innerspring mattresses.

Built on a solid fiberglass modified-V hull, the two stateroom floorplan is arranged with a mid-level galley and dinette and double berths in both staterooms. This is a huge interior for a 35-footer, and the salon dimensions can easily be compared to those of a much larger boat. Both heads are fitted with separate stall showers, and the mid-level galley has plenty of counter space and storage. An aft-deck wet bar was standard along with a hardtop, and there’s seating for six on the flybridge. Lady Laura is a 4 State Room 3 Head Galley Up Layout that can sleep 8. As you board you will find wide walkways on the exterior, you can enter from either side of the pilot house. Here you will find the full lower center helm and leather bench sitting area with storage below, and marble floors.  Just aft is the full-size galley with upgraded appliances, granite counter tops, and marble floors, as well as a custom pass through to the helm and dining area.  From the helm to starboard you can go forward down the curved stairway, leading to the 3 Guest rooms and 2 heads, each with a shower and tile floors. Each guest room has hanging closets and televisions.

Aft of the Galley to port is the full-size dining table with 6 chairs, and to starboard there is a full wet bar with storage above and below. The main salon offers two large couches and two sitting chairs as well as a flat screen tv, and designer fabrics and carpet. From the rear of the salon, you can access the aft deck from the custom widened sliding aft doors. At mid ship of the salon, the upper stairs will take you up a covered access to the flybridge, or you can head down a private staircase to the expansive master full beam stateroom with a walk around king bed, entertainment system, walk in closets, make up vanity with mirror, windows, and a ensuite full shower and bath with marble counters and floors. To starboard before you reach the master you will find the walk-in laundry and engine rooms.

The interior has an abundance of natural light from the large windows throughout, but there are blinds throughout when privacy is desired. The boat feels very open, spacious and clean.

The flybridge offers a custom hard top with a full strato glass enclosure, making this a sun deck useable for cruising or entertaining in any conditions, there is a full center helm with two helm seats. Aft of the helm to port there is a L shaped couch with table and to starboard there is another couch, there is storage below both couches. There is also a wet bar and fridge to port.  As you walk out the rear of the bridge, there is a spacious rear deck and a gas grill, further aft you will find the davit and tender.

The large bow area offers cushioned seating with storage below.

This boat must be considered a "Project" but can be purchased at a price that will allow the new owner to invest considerable money to bring it back to "Bristol" condition without being UPSIDE DOWN in the end.  The bones of the boat are solid - engines run, generator runs, new batteries and chargers 2024 and the interior is very clean with no smells or odors.  The boat is usable as it sits but it will need Canvas, Vinyls, Electronics, Fiberglass repairs on swim platform and a good wet sanding/buff and wax.  It will also need bottom paint.  If you are interested please come take a look and any reasonable offer will be considered.  This is a divorce settlement decree and must sell ASAP.  Deeded Slip at Sunset Cay Marina Folly Beach, SC also available as a package deal if needed.

The Mainship 400Trawler is an updated version of the very popular Mainship 350/390 Trawler.  The design is beautifully simple with ease of use clearly in mind. 

Built on a semi-displacement hull with a full keel the single-engine version offers excellent propeller protection.  She also offers trawler economy with the ability to make 16 knots plus when desired.

With wide sidewalks, molded bridge steps, a large aft cockpit covered by an equally large aft deck, upper and lower helm stations and no exterior teak the boat is a natural and easy traveler.

The layout is equally easy to use, the entry via the swim platform to the cockpit and into the Salon are all on a single level.  There is a wide transom door and double-opening French style doors that open from the Cockpit to the Salon.  The Salon features a double reclining settee to port with a booth dinette forward.  The Galley is to starboard with the lower helm just ahead, the lower helm has a convenient access door to the starboard walkway.

The staterooms are forward and down three steps, the master located in the forward cabin features an Island berth with a privacy entrance to the head compartment.  The guest stateroom is to port, opposite the head compartment. There is plenty of room for seating and relaxing on the bridge. There is even a Summer Kitchen option providing a grill, sink and icemaker aft of the centerline helm.

Wide molded steps offer safe and secure footing to the covered aft deck. Going forward, there are wide, lighted and recessed walkways with overhead protection leading to the foredeck. A stainless steel Sampson post and dual roller pulpit is perfect for setting the anchor and the optional windlass makes retrieval a snap. All rails, hatches and portlights are now fashioned from 316L stainless steel for easy maintenance and great looks.

Since 2003, all Mainships, including the new 400, are featuring beautiful cherry wood interiors. All cabinets, drawers and tables are solid cherry and the optional cherry and holly sole is very traditional as well as serviceable. The extended salon includes an Ultra leather sofa, entertainment center with Bose audio system, and flat screen TV. A starboard side galley offers a full size, dual voltage refrigerator and freezer, microwave, 3-burner range and oven, and even a coffee maker.

Special attention has been given to general and dishware storage and the location for an under counter trash receptacle. To port of the lower station is a full dinette that seats four with a comfortable bench and two chairs. Forward, is a master stateroom with a centerline inner spring queen berth and plenty of hanging, drawer and locker storage. A second stateroom offers two single berths and an optional innovative desk arrangement, and the head, with a separate stall shower is accessible from the master stateroom or the companionway.

I personally helped the current owners purchase this boat 6 years ago and they took a very nice low hour boat and took it up several notches by properly maintaining the boat both mechanically and cosmetically.  This model has always been a favorite but most have been rode hard and put up wet (not this one). If you are in the market for a very nice 2 stateroom aft cabin, diesel powered vessel then you must take a look at this one.

Grace on Water is a 4 State Room 3 Head Galley Up Layout that can sleep 8. As you board you will find wide walkways on the exterior, you can enter from either side of the pilot house. Here you will find the full lower center helm and leather bench sitting area with storage below.  Just aft is the full-size galley with upgraded appliances, granite counter tops, as well as a custom pass through to the helm and dining area.  From the helm to starboard you can go forward down the curved stairway, leading to the 3 Guest rooms and 2 heads, each with a full stand-up stall shower. Each guest room has hanging closets and televisions.

Aft of the Galley to port is the full-size dining table with 4 chairs, and to starboard there is a full wet bar with storage above and below. The main salon offers two large couches and a sitting chair as well as a flat screen tv.

From the rear of the salon, you can access the aft deck from the custom aft doors. At mid ship of the salon, the upper stairs will take you up a covered access to the flybridge, or you can head down a private staircase to the expansive master full beam stateroom with a walk around king bed, entertainment system, walk in closets, make up vanity with mirror, windows, and an ensuite full shower and bath. To starboard before you reach the master you will find the walk-in laundry and engine room.

The interior has an abundance of natural light from the large windows throughout, but there are blinds throughout when privacy is desired. The boat feels very open, spacious and clean.

The flybridge offers a bimini top with a full isinglass enclosure, making this a sun deck useable for cruising or entertaining in any conditions, there is a full center helm with three helm seats. Aft of the helm to port there is a L shaped couch with table and to starboard there is another couch, there is storage below both couches. There is also a wet bar and fridge to port.  As you walk out the rear of the bridge, there is a spacious rear deck with sitting chairs, further aft you will find the davit.

The large bow area offers cushioned seating with storage below.
