2017 Ranger Tugs R-27

This 2017 Ranger Tugs R-27 offers an impressive combination of cruising comfort, efficiency and maneuverability in a compact, trailerable-style cruising package. Powered by a 200 HP Volvo D3 diesel inboard, the R-27 is designed for economical coastal cruising while still offering the accommodations and systems normally found on a much larger boat.

The enclosed pilothouse provides excellent visibility from the helm and comfortable year-round use. Inside, the R-27 features a bright salon, convertible dinette, well-equipped galley, forward sleeping accommodations and an enclosed marine head. The galley includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven/stove and hot water system.

Docking and close-quarters handling are made much easier with bow and stern thrusters. Navigation and electronics equipment includes radar, chartplotter/navigation display, autopilot, depth/speed information, compass and VHF. Additional onboard equipment includes air conditioning and heat, generator, inverter, shore power, battery charger, electric anchor windlass, Fusion stereo system and underwater lighting.

The large cockpit and swim platform provide useful outdoor space for entertaining, fishing or simply enjoying time on the water. With its thoughtful layout, diesel efficiency and extensive equipment, this R-27 is well suited for weekend cruising, extended trips and exploring the coast.
