Traveling Soul is a 52-foot Extended Deck House (EDH) Jefferson Marquessa. She is a two-owner boat whose most recent captain and first mate called her home for nearly eight years. During the summers they cruised the entirety of the Chesapeake, in the spring and fall they explored the ICW, and during the winters they plied the islands of the Bahamas. With a suite of full-sized appliances – to include a full-sized refrigerator-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and fully-functional dish washer – her galley is as close to “gourmet” as exists on any 52-foot boat on the market today. It is perfect for those who enjoy cooking as well as for those who simply enjoy eating. Its spacious saloon can easily seat eight for cocktails and four for dinner. Her large flybridge and bridge deck can accommodate even more.
Traveling Soul has three cabins, an aft master with a full-sized walk around Queen, a guest cabin that can be configured as either two singles or one King, and a forward guest cabin with two bunks. Each cabin has an associated head with a separate shower and an MSD I on-board waste processing system (either a Purasan or an Electra-Scan).
With two Detroit Diesels, four independently-controlled air conditioners, a new generator, a recently rebuilt water maker, and an up-to-date electronics package (including the hardware for a Sirius weather system) Traveling Soul is prepared to start cruising again!
Starting forward where the guest stateroom is located are stacked single berths to port, hanging locker and ensuite head to starboard with separate stall shower to port. The light, bright and spacious galley is up one step on the starboard side with new (2017) full size Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer, built-in, LG microwave (2016), GE Profile four (4) burner electric stove/oven, dual stainless steel sinks, abundant storage, teak Parque flooring, easy access to the generator under the sole and more storage. Opposite is an "L" shaped settee with a custom dual teak pedestal table. Continuing aft and down three steps is a passageway featuring teak Parque flooring, leading to the master stateroom aft. Along this corridor the stacked Kenmore washer & dryer are passed first to port, followed by the second of three heads and separate showers. This shower can accommodate three! Opposite is the guest stateroom with single berths that convert into a king berth. The engine rooms are located next aft on either side of the hallway. The master stateroom has a centerline queen, custom mattress, smoked glass counter tops, extensive storage, teak Parque flooring, wallpaper, window treatment, vertical beveled mirrors, etc. The ensuite head with shower stall are to starboard. Traveling forward back to the galley and up 6 steps is the pilot house helm with port and starboard entry doors on each side and flybridge access via ladder. Further aft is the massive salon brightened by large sliding windows w/screens and black aluminum custom full width, smoked glass, sliding doors aft, with a sliding privacy curtain. In the salon is an "L" shaped custom cabinet along with a wet bar/beverage center plus a flat screen TV and entertainment center. The salon contains overstuffed, comfortable L-shaped settee, storage, recessed dimmer and lamp lighting, Berber carpet, custom white mini blinds and more. The aft deck is open to enhance ventilation and easy line handling. The flybridge will comfortably seat eight with a wet bar, custom safety rails aft and easy handling of the Carib RIB dinghy with 15p Yamaha outboard using the strategically placed Nautical Structures electric davit.
The galley is accessed from a staircase leading down from the pilothouse area. The galley has a nice varnished teak table, teak Parque flooring, and comfortable seating area with large windows to let light in. Featuring the following;
